Bengaluru’s Mahadevapura constituency became the focus of a political storm after Congress leader Rahul Gandhi alleged large-scale voter list manipulation — claiming nearly 80 voters were registered at the same address in Booth No. 470.
When a Mathrubhumi reporter visited the alleged location, House No. 35 in Muni Reddy Garden, they found Dipankar, a food delivery worker from West Bengal, living in a small rented room with his wife and one-year-old child.
“I don’t know any of them,” Dipankar said, referring to the alleged 80 names tied to his address.
